Latvia is the sovereign state in the Baltic region of northern Europe. It is referred to as one of the Baltic States. It is bordered by Estonia in the northern, Lithuania in the southern, Russia in the east, and Belarus to the southern. Education system in Latvia
The Latvian education system consists of secondary and higher education. It provides 9 years of basic education and 3 years of secondary education. There are such institutes also that offer both academic and professional education.

Masters:

Doctoral:
The candidate must have completed a bachelor’s and master’s degree (of 5 years) with a detailed research proposal

Visa processing duration:
According to the immigration laws of Latvia, the maximum time consumed in visa processing is 15 days after the submission of the visa application. More time can be taken in case there is a requirement for information regarding long-term visas. The decision will be taken in 60 days.
